By using StudyBright ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old to use StudyBright.
StudyBright is an educational tool that uses AI to generate study materials (flashcards, quizzes, crossword puzzles, and games) from topics or uploaded content. The Service is provided as-is for educational purposes.
Important: StudyBright uses artificial intelligence to generate study content. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Always verify information against your official course materials, textbooks, and teacher resources. Do not rely solely on StudyBright content for academic assessments.
You may upload notes, handouts, and other educational materials to generate study sets. By uploading content, you represent that you have the right to do so. Do not upload copyrighted material without authorization, personally identifiable information of others, or any illegal content.
You retain ownership of any content you upload. By using StudyBright, you grant StudyBright a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Study sets are shared via link by default. Anyone with your share link can view your study set and its contents without logging in. Do not upload content you wish to keep private.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you submit to the Service.
StudyBright respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please send a notice to info@studybright.co with: (1) identification of the copyrighted work, (2) identification of the infringing material and its location on the Service, (3) your contact information, and (4) a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is unauthorized. We will respond promptly to valid notices.
StudyBright Pro is a monthly subscription at $7.99/month, billed through Stripe. You may cancel at any time; your Pro access continues until the end of the billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
To ensure fair access for all users, StudyBright enforces the following generation limits: 20 study sets per day and 10 study sets per hour, per user or IP address. These limits apply to all accounts. Users who attempt to circumvent these limits via automated tools or multiple accounts may be blocked.
You agree not to: attempt to reverse-engineer the Service, use automated tools to abuse the API, share your account credentials, or use the Service for any illegal purpose.
StudyBright is provided on a best-effort basis. We reserve the right to suspend, limit, or terminate the Service at any time, with or without notice, including in response to abuse, excessive usage, technical failures, or circumstances beyond our control. Uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. In the event of a service disruption or termination, paid subscribers are entitled to a refund of no more than the pro-rated amount paid for the current billing month. No other compensation or liability is owed.
StudyBright is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for academic performance outcomes, errors in AI-generated content, service interruptions, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the month in which the claim arose.
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
